Incident no 1:
> After the meter rule, i took an auto in Kodambakkam. From there to Mylapore, he asked me 80 bucks!! I asked to put meter, as they have imposed the rule. His reply,
"Government rule vepan, vekamaatan... ada po ma... ellaruma meter vachikuta irruganga"
I felt like dragging him to the police station... I kept on bargaining, he came down from 80 to 70. I left, and try looking for another auto. Then he came for 60. Due to personal reasons had to take that B****Y AUTO!!
Incident No 2:
> From Alwarpet to Mylapore, Rs. 50 bucks.
I asked him, what nonsense...its too much,
His reply,
" Petrol velai eriruchu ma, idhu correct aana vela" [am supposed to say that a*****e]
It's was raining, I was still waiting for an auto who asks for the correct Rupees!
After much arguments with this auto who came next, I went for 25!
What the B****y?
It's really a 'sad' issue! From the day 1 in my 'chennai' life I've never seen a guy put on the meter. They commit a crime without any fear of government.
In fact in Bangalore, Hyderabad and all they put meter and follow a proper system... Here only they fuss for everything! From switching on the meter to wearing helmets, they don't stick to any rule properly! They will say the 'rule is on' and the next day 'rule is off'!! For the auto issue it's still worse! It came in the end of the page 'a two column importance'!
Sometimes I feel, our government should act like a 'Head-Mistress'....being very strict and putting things in order..! But am sure this can all be 'only' a dream! Who is sincere and dedicated in this world to expect the government to be?! It happens even in the class for a project?!How many of them work sincerely?
After a all, in a class project people will work in the ration of 2:4 or 2:5!! How can I even expect government to act like that! When i was reading constitution paper this semester, my friends n I even planned to file a case against this! And you know, it all ended up only in discussion!!
A 'change' in this to come to pass.... I dunno how many years it will take...! Lets see...

since when did shara become sharu? ;-) hehe.. and autos..yea they "drive" you crazy at times..there was this funny experience wit an auto guy.took place recently..i wanted him to go to mandaveli railway station. He was like "vandi mylapore railway station kum pogum,potuma?"..I was confused..as it is..i suck big time in remembering routes..and when we reached the street end of my residence, i asked him to stop near "that tree"..the ass**** kept on driving saying "anga maram iruku...inga maram iruku.." and finally i shouted "STOP!!;-) " and luckily he did..he was either bonkers or drunk ... I stil cant forget it! hehe.. For this crap i had to take all the way, i paid 50 bucks!
Shara...sharu... janu... CR...ellame nandhan!![:D]! season ku yetha maari marum!!
Its sad that no one follows rules..! But I had other experiences here in ble.. In a way iam glad there is a proper meter system ! But the worst and irritating part is , the auto wallas act off too much, they rarely come to the place you want to..! Its very common here to hear "Mg road baragagalla madam".. Vapas savari siggalla".!! Crap it is..! They sould realize that they are for the service for the people.. And the funny part is that, there are helpcenters here.. if you dont get an auto to your area, you can dial and place a request !!! No wonder there are lots of Pre-paid auto centers here, where the Traffic police guides the public to get an auto..!! Thinking about this, sometimes I feel chn autos are better, though you pay extra, atleast you neednt wait for hours to get an auto..!
i strongly agree with you.. bleddy useless government knows nothing better than pudingiphying money from us in the name of TAX and pocketing it here and there... i personally feel these auto guys must be shot then and there and the license must be taken awway and must be prisoned for 10 years... i know its toooooooo much...but seriously only if things like this happen our state will orupituphy....
Well said.
