An unforgettable Wednesday

Mumbai terrorism attacks – something no Indian would have imagined that would happen to us. An attack which had an impact on every true Indian! An attack which is going on for 3 days which we have never witnessed before!

Well, what is happening to our country?

2008 is a bad year for us. Starting from Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur… we are witnessing so many terrorists’ attacks this year. Even after our country has been hit by so many attacks, we are still unable to zero-in on the perpetrator!

Frankly, all the blasts occurred except Mumbai had very less impact on me. I just prayed that everyone should be fine.

But today after seeing Mumbai suffer, I can hear my heart beats go in a rapid pace, a silent prayer goes through my mind, eyes filled with tears and that conveys helplessness and a sense of fear that prevails in me even now.. when I type this.

At this point I am really scared to step out of my house. I feel there is no positive vibes out here. I just want to say ‘enough is enough we can’t take it anymore’!

I want to just put down my thoughts here and show my anger. I just want to point out on the people whom I just hate now and show them what they have not done. But am just scared to go on.. .I sense now that the liberty to express has gone haywire! The blasts have just scared the hell out of me! I just want to say one thing “F**K them”!

I want to end here by thanking the NSG force and the various heros who have helped the people who have been trapped and especially the NSG for shooting the accused! Hats off to them and am just so proud how strong our army force is! It simply implies ‘Dude even if you take 3 days or 4 days, we are not gonna leave you alive’!

With a silent prayer for the people who have lost their lives, I sign off!

Post Script:
I really want to appreciate NDTV for their outstanding coverage on this. Personally I liked the way the news was presented by them. Especially Pranoy Roy for his comments that hooked me to write this! Well, I don’t have a legal platform to comment on this, am just happy that someone who is well learnt about all the sides is doing our job!

Varanam Aayiram.... to all the dads!

Movie: Varanam Aayiram

Cast: Surya, Sameera reddy, Divya Spandana, Simran.

Music: Harris Jayaraj

Director: Gautham Menon

Varanam Aayiram (meaning the strength of thousand elephants) is the most expected movie of the year. After the hot-combination of Surya and Gautham Menon in Kakha Kakha, the second movie of the duo is Varanam Aayiram which was released on Nov 14.

This movie is a tribute to Gautham’s father who passed away last year. The movie talks about the relationship that a father and a son shares. Typically it’s the relationship that Menon and his father shared, of course with a few cinematic elements added to it!

The story begins with Surya (as an army officer) while on a mission gets the news of the death of his father. He starts reminiscing about the days spent with father and the story cuts to a flash back.

Krishnan (Surya) is a government employee who is married to his college mate Malini (Simran). ‘Mundhinam’ is a beautiful penned song that shows the entire love story of theirs. It was love at first sight for him and the song which tells their love story can’t get any sweeter. The line where Simran says, “He just swept me off my feet” explains it all!

Moving on, Surya (played as his son) shares a unique kind of a relationship with his father. He looks upon his father more than his mother (as played by Simran). Theirs is more a friendship than a typical father-son relationship.

Surya goes to an Engineering college in Tiruchi, after his father borrows money to pay his capitation fees, but ends up watching movies than attending classes. While returning back after his final semester he meets Megna (Sameera Reddy) in the train. As expected, it was love at first sight for him! The emotions displayed by him when he sees her brings a smile to everyone who is watching the movie. The way he pats his chest and admires her secretly is most romantic scene in the whole movie!

He starts playing his guitar which is followed by the ‘Nenjukul Peidhidum Mamazhai’ song. His attempt to impress her goes in vain as she leaves to America for higher studies. After setting up his own company along with his friends he follows Sameera and finally wins her heart! (Wonder which father allows his son to go in search of a girl when there is no money around! This is too cinematic to believe. I suppose Gautham did a similar scene in his life too – refer Times article).

A major blast occurs where Sameera loses her life and Surya comes back to India. He meets his sister - Shriya’s friend and neighbour played by Divya who helps him overcome the sorrow. Surya’s unable to forget her gets into drugs and the scene where the withdrawal stage happens is tremendously done by the actor. He was so real and his acting was just brilliant. He comes out of it and at the advice of his father takes a break and goes to Kashmir!

The complete transformation happens when he gets engaged in finding a kidnapped kid and realizes his true self to become an army officer. The awaited six-pack scene comes and everyone goes ‘ahhh’ while watching him! He moves to Delhi and Divya follows him this time and love strikes again! Moving on, Krishnan is diagnosed with lung cancer. And well you can imagine the climax, which directs to the first scene of the movie.

The first half of the movie was great mixture of songs and scenes that moves at a faster pace while the second half was a drag! Certain scenes remained cinematic and so unrealistic while the romantic parts of the story are well crafted and the emotions are well displayed.

This is Gautham’s story through Surya! Surya is the main substance of the story and story revolves around him. He has done full justice to the movie and has shown great acting skills. His hard work is clearly visible and there needs no surprise if he wins a Filmfare award for best actor category this year! I can see a South Indian Aamir Khan shaping in him! The father, the teenage son, the college student and the army officer (where he sports a six pack) is differentiated so clearly. Well for the ladies, all the three heroines get an equal share and have done a great job!

The music score is just wonderful! All the songs are nice and the music itself becomes the USP of the movie. If he hadn’t dragged the movie and cut some unbelievable scenes, the movie will rated 5/5 by me! Well, for all the hard work done by Surya and Gautham I give them 3.5/5!!

Post Script: Watch the movie with no expectations and if your an ardent Surya fan, there is no doubt you will just LOVE watching this movie! And for me, I LOVED SURYA! :) He is a hot property for Tamil industry!

Sa-Ro-Ja Movie review!

MOVIE REVIEW

Movie – Saroja
Genre – Thriller / Comedy
Director – Venkat Prabhu
Cast – SPB Charan, Vaibhav, RJ Shiva, Premji Amaran, Prakash Raj, Jayram, Vega,
Sampath.
Bottom Line – Four friends are mistakenly caught up with baddies and help save the
daughter of rich businessman who is kidnapped by them.
Rating: * * * *

Rarely Tamil cinema has seen the two completely different genres ‘Thriller’ and ‘comedy’ in one movie. Hats-off to director Venkat Prabhu for taking such a big step in entertaining the Tamil audience. ‘Sa-ro-ja’ is a promising movie by Venkat Prabhu which will have you in splits. He re-creates the magic after the runaway success of blockbuster ‘Chennai – 600 028.’

The story begins with the lead character Saroja (Vega) being kidnapped. Prakash Raj played as the girl’s father (a rich Businessman) calls up the police and starts the investigation. Jayram plays the role of Asst Commissioner and friend of Prakash Raj.

Meanwhile the story cuts to the lively and bubbly gang of four friends, Jagapathi Babu (SPB Charan), Ajay (Shiva), Ganesh (Premji Amaran) and Raj Babu(played by new comer Vaibhav). The four friends decide to go to Hyderabad to watch India – Pakistan match. A major accident occurs which forces them to take another route to reach the destination. This is when the story actually begins.

The four men land up in an area where there is no way out. They find themselves in the midst of the baddies who tries to murder them. They try to escape and find Saroja (Vega) who is kidnapped by them. Sampath (Sampath) plays the kidnapper with a gang of guys who assists him. Saroja with the help of these four men tries to escape and what follows next is the climax.

Prakash Raj has played his role really well. The emotions expressed by him sure needs applause, especially when he tries to confess to his wife and when he bursts out thinking about his daughter! Jayram too has played it well. But after years of seeing him as a comedian, this role of his is hard to accept. The villain Sampath is definitely used well by the director. We were just wondering why they wasted him in Chennai – 600 028!

The four guys – SPB Charan, Vaibhav, Premji Amaran and Shiva have loads of acting skills that should be noted by the directors of Tamil industry! Premji’s comedy line in this movie, ‘Evalavo pannitom, idha panna maatoma’ (From Vijay’s movie) is sure to make us laugh out loud! The movie has comedy where it shouldn’t have. When you just think the movie is getting serious, Premji has something for you! He is best used only by his brother.

And for the ladies, Vega is the only female lead who has some weightage in her role.(That too, only for the second half of the movie!). Nikita played as Sampath’s love, shakes her leg for a song and vanishes and so does Kajal Agarwal who is played as Shiva’s woman!

The location of the movie sure needs to be mentioned. We wonder where in Hyderabad the area exists. The music for the movie is composed by Yuvan Shaker Raja. His rapport with brother Venkat has produced great results and one can witness in this movie. The songs ‘Cheeky Cheeky’ and ‘It’s my Life’ has a western blend. While songs such as, ‘Dost bada Dost’, ‘Koodana Kodi’ and ‘Nimirndhu Nillu’ is typical of Yuvan’s music.

The 3 - day movie is sure to entertain you for the 3 hours you’ve paid! If you haven’t laughed out loud before, watch Sa-Ro-Ja, the complete entertainer!

NO SMOKING

The health minister has been doing quite a lot of good things these days! The recent October 2nd ban on smoking in public places is a big attempt that needs to be appreciated.

Everyone knows 'Smoking is injurious to health'. This tag is also attached in cigarette packets! I wonder how people smoke even after the warning! I remember an ad which came few years ago in discover channel. The ad was a PSA done by Australian government to show the ill effects of smoking. The ad gave every detail. It is shown from the time u inhale the 'shit' to exhale it! The ad concentrated on how it will affect the organs inside! I still remember it kinda vaguely.

In India, I witness a lot of PSAs, rally, protests and the like happening for 'No Smoking'. Smoking is an addiction! I know a friend of mine who started of by saying 'No da I just wanna try to know how it feels' and now I keep reminding her of how her body feels!!

I hope this Ban will reduce the sales of cigaretts and the death rates which are caused by smoking! This will also reduce burdens of all the NGOs and increase the un-billed salary of the policemen ;-) ;-) lol!!

And the note from the blogger,

To all my dear readers, PLEASE DON'T SMOKE and discourage people whom you know are smoking cause there might be a day when you can't see them forever!

Thanks,
Sharu :-)

Get FIT to F.I.T < < IN > >!!

-DIET

--EXERCISE

----LOSING WEIGHT

------SLIM

-------SIZE ZERO! [WORST ONE!]

What not ?? I am seeing countless articles in newspapers these days about losing weight!

"get fit"

"have the slim look"

"size zero is 'in' "

Oh my god, how many articles will they write these days about losing weight ??

Almost every newspaper carry information related to this. What fruits, vegetables we should have; What will make us lose weight; What will make you gain weight and stuff!!

I know people are getting 'way to' health conscious these days, but then the sudden rise of such articles is really shocking! They carry some hundred tips on how to lose weight and stuff!! lol

It's good to stay fit and be healthy :) But this sudden rise of numerous articles on it almost everyday is really getting on my nerves! It looks like they have no other topic to write on.

You should remind people on staying healthy, but writing long articles everyday won't do much help. Instead you can give pictorial representations of yoga poses and exercise positions apart from writing the articles! I swear even I cannot read such articles everyday, even though I am journalist ;-) The stuff they write is really good, but they can try putting them in different ways! And also they should publish on weekends 'only', so that you don't get bored of the same stuff!!

Lesson learnt

I learnt something so valuable that I need to blog about it!

Seminars and guest lectures are something that happens almost every now and then in my college. Having listened so much definitely has given me a lot of information and knowledge. But sometimes when these boring people coming and lecture I kinda loose interest so quickly that I start meddling with my mobile or draw something or for worst case I even start dreaming!!

It's either the way they put in the information or lack of improper communication they make with us is the problem of listening to them! I respect the information they provide but the way they commune is the 'problem' for me! That's the only thing they lack!

So what about it ? Always don't listen to them and happily do something ?

Here is when I learnt one major lesson from one of the guest lectures who came to our department to talk about corporate communication. She was friendly, made us feel really comfortable and was those excellent people who had the ability to make us all listen to her! :)

Before she started the topic, she said one thing that she learnt in college.

She said, "How ever the lecturers may speak, don't ignore them. Try to listen and gain knowledge and information that is abundant, AS NOTHING GOES WASTE".

The sentence "Nothing goes waste" still lingers in my mind when ever I get to hear a boring lecture! The person who may take the lecture for you might not be a good communicator, but he/she has the information that they like to pass it on to us. So what's wrong in making attempts to listen what the person says as 'nothing goes waste'! Am sure it will be useful someday!!

*smiles*

God made me realize...

"God made realize that he is not always 'busy' for me!"
I was watching Bruce Almighty that day. There is a scene in which Bruce sends replies to all the prayer requests [After he has been given the powers of the Lord]. He recieves millions of mail every minute and then realizes how hard it is to be 'God'! He also realizes that he can use all his powers for buying anything in this world except LOVE![Wah..Wah..Love you Lord!]

So what this movie infers to me? When ever am depressed, I have the habit usually 'blasting' god! I always complain that he doesn't have time to listen to this poor soul! But after seeing that scene, I felt terrible to pray again! How many problems and requests he has to listen, he still gives a patient ear to me and solves it! Oh Lord.... forgive me! You can only do such lovely things to people! Love you...!:-)

Indian Pathetic League

The IPL (read my abbreviation) finally ended and am happy that 45 days of playing the game everyday(!!) is over!

I don't how can a game be played everyday that to two times with the same opponent and people pay up money for that and watch it also! I mean, if it was one round I wouldn't have been bothered but two time and 45 days of non-stop cricket - SHIT man!

Firstly, this 20-20 is not really a good format for cricket. I suppose cricket was started with test matches, then they started the one-day matches. Now after seeing that people have less patience, they reduced it to 20 overs! This is really sad. But I must accept that this 20 overs match is nice to watch! But I swear not everyday!!

Strong side for the batsmen and a weakness to the bowlers. I mean if you bowl well, okay 'Super Cool' and you get some purple cap or blue cap(!) If you don't, thats all! There are millions of people and cricket commenter's who curse you and give you a black cap!![I pity balaji for bowling the last over against Rajasthan Royals in the final match)

Moving over to our dear IPL, I would call this series 'a collection of drama'. Cheerleaders showing away their skin happily, Sreesanth crying in front of hundreds of people, Harbhajan the next day happily hugs Sree, Vijay Mallya's sickest behavior, playing loud music of Tamil, indi songs and distracting the players, celebrities in the VIP section bringing the family and constantly waving to the camera, Preity Zinta hugging Yuvaraj Singh on every occasion possible and loadza more!!

IS THIS CRICKET ? THE CRICKET WE USED TO SEE ? ?

I don't say celebrities should not come and witness the match, but doing a series of drama in front of the camera is BAD!! From the beginning there was something wrong in this IPL! Auctioning of players, icon players and on. The idea of bringing young players (under 19 and on) is good. But why give all the publicity to the International players and unwanted movie stars in this? Then whats the whole point of encouraging them man ?

I really don't get the point. Cricket is called as the 'Gentleman's Game' and now? I really don't get the point of adding GLAMOR to cricket. Already cricket is in the top position in India [Guess it should be re-christened as our National Game] and now adding too mMASALA to it and spoiling other games too! Guys this a SPORT and not some Bollywood MOVIE to have song, dance and crap!

I am extremely worried about the game. The game where once I liked seems to fade away! Highly disappointed with this. Hope these players play good sport in the coming years at least and also young players should be given a better platform to display their talents.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even though I disliked some parts of the game structure, I really admired few things that happened in the game. So here goes my list;

3 cheers to....
  1. Team Rajasthan Royals - For putting up such an extraordinary show and made the whole country look upon them!
  2. Shane Warne - For his guts in bringing and believing the youth of our nation and brought out their talents in them! Especially Yusuf pathan, even I thought he was not good a batsmen.
  3. MS Dhoni - I am in love with him! :) I mean he is totally fantastic! He stayed calm till the end of series even though the team suffered loss in the middle. And he did not make us feel bad about losing in the finals as he made the team give their best. I just adore you man![Chennai Super Kings Rocks]
  4. Rahul Dravid - For withstanding all the embarrassment Mallya made. I think he was perfect, but his team wasn't. Don't you worry dude, you are always the 'The wall for Indian cricket'! [I read an article about the issue and one gentleman wrote "Rahul is great player and it's not fair to blame him for this. I think he is just not designed for 20-20 as he is for test matches] - very true!
  5. Team Hyderabad - Esp their team owner for not harassing the team like Mallya did. Also for Adam Gilchrist's effort to train them a little.
  6. ShahRukh Khan - He is just brilliant, if he gets into politics am sure he will go places. He was just great, especially when the team was not doing well you should see what message he gave to his team, "Even though we did bad, exit from the game decently so that we are not badly treated"... Thats fantastic and I also liked his answer given back to Mallya!
There is lots more I admired but these are the in the top list! Now let me begin with what I hated the most!

Middle - finger to :
  1. Mallya - For harassing the team captain Dravid and Charu Sharma. Has he got brains? I mean he has insulted one of the most brilliant player! If the team is not performing well it is not fair to blame them like that! His utmost 'kid-behavior' is the biggest joke of the series! When this news broke, my sister commented saying "He is a drunkard know thats why he is behaving like this"... I still cannot stop laughing ;-)
  2. Sreesanth - I HATE HIM! I once liked him and now I hate him more the times I liked him! What is he doing man? Crying like a kid and showing aggressive faces like a beast ? Is this sportsman spirit? Doesn't he know how to behave or should he get some discipline classes ? I don't know how they left him with a warning, he had 'bad-behavior' record and I think he should be penalized! I think he should get some anger-management classes or get into film acting and play villain roles. He doesn't need any practice, he can show faces to all the heroes and behave like an animal!
  3. Bhajji - The same applies to him! Mr. bhajji alais sojji what are doing ? Slapping sree and calling symonds in a **** bad words ? Either you play cricket or eat bajji
  4. (These both may be great bowlers, but they lack the sportsman spirit and basic decency!! )
  5. Cheerleaders - To all those half naked women out there, go away to your country and stop spoiling the brothers of our country! ;-)
I happily end my long post here~

Giggles:-)

bald men and french beard! ;-)

My headline looks weird? ! And so am I!

I had this strange liking for dark men before, now its towards 'bald men and french beard'!! Don't ask me why! It's just that way...!

Suddenly I get 'turned on' to men who are bald n beautiful:P! I wanted to blog mainly because of one guy, who made me so damn crazy! He is Mr. RAGHU RAM! If you watch MTV Roadies you would know! He is the producer of the show!He is this thin, figured, bald guy and has a cute beard! He is nick-named as the "rudest man on TV". He insults people like _____! Sometimes I wonder, for getting into Roadies, why you need get insulted by him so much? Even after getting into roadies, you need to undergo a series of insults, torture and hatred! But whatever it may be its fun to watch them fight, gossip and bitch about each other! ;-)

Moving on to Raghu! I think I fell in love with him. However he portrays himself, he is smart man! I mean you need real guts to insult people like that. I've even wondered, by chance if I read psychology I should take lessons from him on reading people's mind! He is really HAWWWTTTT.....!!So many people love him...me, Sar, Pri....! :-) Total LOWES;-) Guess after the Daniel Balaji syndrome, I am stuck to him now! :D

Moving on to other people whom I like.

The first bald guy: The bald guy whom I liked and think 'hot' is Andre Agassi! Yes, the tennis player! More than his tennis, I like him for his looks!

The second bald guy: He was this person named LK, I know him personally. He was my first crush. He resembles like Agassi, and that's why I liked him! Well, now I have a huge respect for what he is now and what he does! And more over, he is MARRIED:D

Third bald guy:Sean Connery, the actor! Or should I call him the 'HOT BOND GUY'? Of all the bonds I have seen, I like him a lot! [Pierce Brosnan, other favorite!] I like him for two reasons, one being his acting skills! He is just too good! And other being -you know- ;-)

Fourth bald guy: Ha ha ha... everyone loves him! It is not his permanent style or something, He had this style or what ever you cal, only for a movie, or rather a part of a movie. There are worshipers for him, he is the idol for many people, kids too love him, everyone tries to copy his 'style' ;-) if your still blinking, if means you don't watch Indian movies or you are too dumb to guess;-) He is otherwise called 'Super Star RajiniKanth' :d... the motta boss is-style!! Gawd... he looks brilliantly handsome! The way he taps his bald head.... ha ha ha.... Thala means Thala wonly :D Can't forget the movie for his style, bald, tap and the sound it makes ;-)

Fifth bald guy: Paulo Cohelo! I like him only for his writing and writing and writing! I mean he beautifully pens down words that makes him a wonderful writer. My inspiration for so many things and I see him as one of those 'beautiful man who makes us see things beautifully'! I love him for his writing and teaching! But then why I include him here? It just happened that he is also bald and has french beard!!!

Sixth bald guy:
Is the one whom I mentioned earlier.... Raghu!! I think he is really hawwwtt and sexy, with that style! Man I really wanna come for some training on anger management to you...;-) but please be nice to me raghu... I LOWE you ;-)

TAGGED :D

Well, I didn't know this until I read Sowmya's post... Now I shall take the privilege to answer those questions in the truest of my knowledge! :D

Here I go...

1) Pick out a scar you have, and explain how you got it

The one that I have on my left cheek. If I explain how I got it, am sure I would get one more on the right. But thats okay, I won't get it until two years from now!;-) It was during my eldest sister wedding. [During 6th grade] My second sister has those long lovely nails which she mostly uses for blackmailing me!
Me and her had a big fight and madam literally scratched me in my cheek [U know parandi-fyin?] I was crying as though she tried to murder me... In that shock my dad started yelling at her. I was smiling then...:D [Thank god she left to US]

2) What does your phone look like?

Wah- ya - naadd!!

This post is very old news... but still I would want to write about it. It's all about my trip to Wayanaad [College trip!].

First of all, this is my first known visit to Kerala! [my mom told they took me to Guruvayur when I was some 7 or 8 years old... I don't remember!].

Secondly, Wah-ya-naad[I love saying that way... its really WAH!!] is so beautiful and made me addicted. I decided that after I get married I should come again... and you know for what! And also I should stay in the same Resort - Hotel Green Gates! The most beautiful resort I've seen until now!

Thirdly, I shall begin writing :D

January mid we all were set to go to Wayanaad. It was over 14 hours of journey in train. It was always nice to sit in the train and look outside the window! Nature, people, stations and more you see differently when you cross each place. With a bunch of friends around, one can never feel bored. It was too good. We played, sang, gossiped ;) and ate nicely! Like this foolish idiot I forgot to bring my sweater! Closing Erode, I started shivering and by the next day morning I caught up with cold [Thanks to guru for transferring her's ;)] Early morning we reached Calicut and we have to shift to bus to move on to Wayanaad!

To reach the place, we have to cross 9 hair pin bends I guess! The beauty was superb! Half way we slept off with mouth wide open...as nose was blocked! It was 10.30 a.m in the morning when we reached the Wayanaad view point and would you believe me if I say it was like some 6 am in the morning. The mountains fully covered my mist and fog! We took pictures with our typing teeth!

Then we moved on to resort, refreshed and set to Soochipara falls. To see that small falls, we had to climb down the mountain. After walking so much, we could see a small amount of water coming down called falls! For going to the falls also we need to do rock climbing! Argh... my leg was paining so badly! Thanks to Guru,Sonali, Suchi, Varsha and Priyanka. They literally pulled my hands and got me down there.. It was great fun treaking ... falls I was not that impressed with it [ After seeingJog nothing seems to Impress me!] After that we traveled to visit the tea estates. Ah... it was really beautiful, the way they laid down the roads in between them and the way they have trimmed it was so BEAUTIFUL!

Next day we set off to Kuruva Island! It was not like this island types... but still nice. We have to cross the water to visit the place. We all held hands and was standing in a big row and moved slowly. I was praying I shouldn't fall and thank god I didn't! But I could see Sumi fell, while she was taking pictures! It was slippery ... and our guide helped us move on! But really I must say.. it was too good :) After my Coorg trip, I crossed water again! After crossing we wear walking in some -forest-look-alike- place and was walking walking walkin... and finally reached the end! there was only tress and the island by the side... Already we were tired crossing the river.. so we in a hurry to reach the end point! I did some tea shopping there and left to the hotel for bon-fire!

Next day we went to Edaikal caves. Well, I couldn climb as it was too steep and slippery... already down with fever i had to stay back mid way! My friends said it was too good... but one should take a risk to climb the mountain! Am sure I missed it! Thats okay :( Then we went to Pookote Lake. Lakes' are always beautiful and so did Pookote! We took pictures, did a lot of shopping and set to Calicut again!

Though we missed out on some places due to lack of time, we didn't bother much cos the place we went were so damn BEAUTIFUL and nice! It was just nature and nature's painting all the way! Hope I get to visit the coastal places too! Kerala is definitely a G.O.D's own country!

And Wayanad?? ...... am coming back for sure! :)

Smiling ever :-)
Sharu

Farewell and bondings :)

Am nearing to the end of my college days...A Big bye to my college n to my rocking Journalism class:) I must say it was wonderful being with my class. Everyone in my class is united and friendly! Being in Media Department of our college, a class with much unity and without much differences of opinion seen is rare. And our class holds the title of "A CLASS WITHOUT ANY ATTITUDE" ! This was said by most of the teachers who handled us. And I think this is one of the truest statements told!

We used to have differences of opinion but we will make sure everyone has a say and come to a proper conclusion. We can never feel lonely or left out in my class. Your group of Friends are absent, you can move to another group and they will happily welcome you. This is what I like about my class...!

Farewell:
The farewell happened after loads of confusion
and finally we got it from our juniors in Madras Centre,Nungambakkam. Our theme for the day is Hawaiian and I could see flower garlands around my classmates. Most of us were in floral clothes! And yea we looked good :P It was a nice time to bond for the LAST time with each other and have fun! We played .. danced ... sang and also cried. <> I didn't feel that much that day as I knew there was still a lot of time. But now, its just 3 more days to go! And I am feeling bad that we are all moving apart. I will miss my class and my friends more than anything else in the college! Only thing I can be sure of is the memories that I have ... that I can cherish with!

When I was in School people used to say... "nothing like school"... "college all chumma dhan"! But I really feel college has made a huge difference to me. I was not the person seen in school. The real me is what I am today! My class, my friends, my college is what I will miss the most in my life! It can never be brought back! I just hope we all stay united till the end!

Re-incarnation

I've realized I went too busy for two months and had completely forgotten my blog!

Reasons:
  1. December went to Bangalore (As usual & had so much fun for new year!) More as a farewell to akka no.2..(my dear gayathri... ) from akka 1(The very young Vidya), Bava no 1( architect Prabhu), naughty niece(rowdy taarika), chamathu amma(oota palli uma:D) and me sitting in a corner and obsessed with taking pictures of myself (Read: Having a toast, combing my hair, serving the dishes, showing my teeth and e.t.c)
  2. January went happy shopping with akka alais the lovely bride gayu! Shopping was crazy & everyday we used to go some place or the other and at some point we literally got bored of shopping! (imagine bored for 'us' - the shopping lovers!)
  3. Also in January went to Wayanaad (College trip...!!) Had amazing time with my class.. I enjoyed to the core (even though I was ill! :( )
  4. Beginning of February was my sister's D day. Marriage ended smoothly and as usual had lots of fun with cousins and friends.
  5. Later in February was held up in Current Affairs club inauguration. Got the highest blasting's ever by HOD ... She shoke hands with us (the awesome threesome - Priyanka, Saranya and myself) twice and told the same!
  6. The same day evening got a mild attack - Sowmya's accident! (Shocking incident! Can't forget!Of course she is okay now sitting and reading my blog!) :)
  7. My sister left to US> N I was giving extra litres of water to River Cauvery. (Missing you so much....!) I acted over confidently that I wouldn't cry and commented only 'children' cry n stared crying after a few hours of the above statement. I am missing her like hell! One of my most favorite closest person ever whom I share 'everything'!
  8. Mood out... Pathetically did my internals and here I am resuming my blog!
Will continue to blog... I promise!

Live & Kicking,
Sharu!
